At eighteen, Twin Peaks implanted itself on my psyche and my film school years - there have been times when David Lynch was my cinematic north star. Has any Hollywood director stretched film and television more out of its comfort zone of narrative structure and predictable road maps?

I was actually sitting down to watch Twin Peaks when I spotted this. First time the Roku screen saver kind of made me teary-eyed. #ripdavidlynch
