To put it another, RotS fails the most in what it intends to do. TPM and AotC aim to be fun exciting times for kids and mostly succeed. RotS aims to be a serious drama and a study of democracy and entirely fails bc it is operating on the same cartoon logic and dry filmmaking.

Takes itself the most seriously but doesn't offer the audience any reason to care. the characters and acting and writing are just as stale as the other two, but where those are at least fun light shows with real(ish) sets, RotS is nothing but droll boring grey sludge.

Yes, please I have been saying this for years. Hell if they want to add Brand Cameos they could even smuggle a Poe Dameron prequel in there. I just want an X-Wing movie how has no one done this yet
