First mending project of 2026 ✅
Repaired tears in one of the girls’ Christmas pajama bottoms. Still not 100% sure what caused this level of damage, but at least I can provide a lasting repair, unlike kid’s attempt at sewing edges together before tossing them in the laundry and hoping for the best!

Well, I did not have crutches and a boot on my plan for this weekend, but the universe clearly did. At least we only have 8 more school days to get through.

I just stayed awake for an entire movie! For anyone who is impressed by that, it is not in fact normal to fall asleep at the slightest provocation, and you may also have undiagnosed sleep apnea. Long live the CPAP!

It took the entire weekend (chose paint Friday night, painted all day Saturday, touched up this morning and moved stuff back in this afternoon), but after 15 years in the purple house, we finally have gotten rid of the industrial off white living room!

Played “Mind the Gap” with my children and in-laws this evening. 10/10, would recommend. If you regularly burst into jingles that are confusing and embarrassing to your kids, or stare blankly at your parents when they reference Edward R. Murrow or Opie, you will have a blast at this game.
