I love my post-punk, but I've been looking for a new hard rock band for ages. Something with big guitars, throbbing bass, passion and power.

So, I'm late to the party, but better late than never. The Warning, three sisters from Mexico, are everything I needed.

The presumption that the Starship, and its numerous experimental/nontraditional design choices, will revolutionize space transportation, is based entirely on the success of the Falcon9, a rocket that was designed by world class NASA and industry veterans who have long since departed

We caught a beautiful view of our little blue planet. 🥹

I can't stop watching this video, thinking our lander is truly leaving us behind. 🧪🦋

16mm film footage captured from the Apollo 17 LM Challenger as it descended to the surface of the Moon in the Taurus-Littrow valley on December 11, 1972. I've rotated it so the view is roughly upright and smoothed the video. (Original video source: NASA, JSC and the Internet Archive)

Eric has been watchdogging Musk's regulatory crime spree for years, and so many people treated it like he was nit picking trivial little violations because he hates Musk.

He was in fact documenting the broad collapse of state power in the face of a corrupt oligarch, which lead to this moment.
As I have noted for years, liberal/centrist people who defend SpaceX keep saying they want to "focus on rockets" as if Musk's ownership isn't emblematic of a corrupted state dominated by petty, violent and dumb oligarchs who can summon death threats against critics like it's having a cup of coffee
