It’s honestly my favourite fever dream kind of experience and so evocative! Hits with tense truly uncomfortable imagery, while always keeping moving and building the characters. Despite being such a short experience theres lots of nuance found in this cute (not you Jimmy) PS1 looking folks.

His chimera form was my first time doing a monster design for SH, so I brought my Bloodborne concept art book to work and asked the director on a scale of one to “The One Reborn” how icky should the design be? He squinted at me and was like “Lets keep it at one”. Still made him a little icky though!

Really enjoyed working on season 4 particularly because of all the beast people designs I got to do! Especially Jaralis. I will never forget you mean lion man, my muse. His design is complicated so I ended up doing a lot of corrections, but he became honestly my favorite part in the end.

As much as I like some of season ones somber palettes, this new visual approach is definitely a step up! Big fan how they played with the level of detail on the characters in particular. Also happy to report that everyone is still drawn with immaculate jawlines!

I am mostly indifferent about Reze and arc surrounding her, but the Chainsaw Man movie was pretty fun! Probably liked this story here more than in the manga in fact.
