Just did a v basic search (on my phone while resting between sets at the gym like a proper bro) - is something like this any good? Or maybe modest fashion itself is already quite bourgeois coded?

Ah right! No idea on tracksuits - nothing from the top of my head on the hijab as a fashion item as opposed to the usual laïcité femonationalism etc (can keep thinking, not on my computer just now), but might publications on e.g. burkini, sports hijabs etc be similar?

Again, I'm not well informed on this, so don't mean to suggest that anti-American imperialism necessarily equates to being 'one of the goodies'. Ffs though, consent manufacturing machine go brrrrrr

It does seem some of the media coverage of her passing is reflecting some of this. I don't suppose I'm suggesting her death should immediately be followed by blanket vilification, but the tone of some of the 'iconic French actress' stuff is already pretty nauseating.
