I don't know why new media in a franchise ruins the old media. I understand in the way of ret-coning well written stories. "Somehow Palpatine returned" sticks out in my head. But that doesn't make the first few movies bad. It doesn't negate their impact.

I don't know why new media in a franchise ruins the old media. I understand in the way of ret-coning well written stories. "Somehow Palpatine returned" sticks out in my head. But that doesn't make the first few movies bad. It doesn't negate their impact.

So, while the action sequences are great in the Clone Wars Animated Film, the way Ahsoka and Anakin interact make me feel like this is just an ego off.
None of these people understand what controlling their emotions means. They make her so insufferable and insolent. I don't like her.

I struggle with inspiration for my sketchbook a lot.
I have a lot of ideas, and concepts, but no confidence that I can draw them with any accuracy. In my journey to be less ginger with my sketchbook, I think I just need to do some studies and take leaps of faith with my work.

I just tried inking with a quill for the first time - it has fountain pen nibs.
My practice turned out pretty well, for a first go around! I definitely need to spend more time with it, and perhaps get myself some alternate nibs, but I do like it quite a bit!

I just finished another domestika course from Evan Amundsen, about illustration and worldbuilding.
As a world builder, this was a course that affirmed, for me, that I was on the right track. If you spend any time at all building worlds for TTRPG's, I highly recommend it.

The only bad thing about Episode 1 is Jarjar, and i'm not accepting alternate opinions.
The difference in fight choreography between Obi-Wan and Qui Gon though? With the FIRST instance we hear duel of the fates?

Just finished the Acolyte.
The actors did great, but the writing was deeply lacking. Middle school me could have written this story in her sleep - and that isn't a compliment.
Jecki was my favorite, Dafne did great. Jodi, Lee, and Manny all did great with their characters.
Amandla was done dirty.
