I think that time spent tsk-tsking a kind of quasi-institution called ‘the media’ in the U.S. is time wasted.
Criticism is fair, but it’s time spent in and with those disappointing sources - and the criticism itself doesn’t change them.

I spent years working in bars and restaurants of all kinds, and learned a lot about food handling, food safety and cooking.
And for whatever reason, I only recently started using this knowledge at home.
EXAMPLE: food labeling is SIMPLE and makes everything easier. It makes FIFO easier, too.
