Does reading not generate thoughts and ideas for you? Can you not write those thoughts and ideas down while you read? Do you not trust yourself to analytically review your own thoughts and ideas?

I don’t know I stumbled on this chain. But I honestly feel like he wrote a lot of posts using AI trained in writing poor grammar bullshit. I am stupider for reading through his chain expecting some kind of intellectually reward as I assumed he was a PhD because his name says so.

I am trying to see your points about the unique “affordances” of using AI to challenge your thinking. But I don’t see you describing anything conventional mind mapping or brainstorming wouldn’t achieve. Is it worth gobbling the planet because you prefer to shake the magic AI ball than grab a pen?
