Thinking of Robert Duvall (and Texas), I always liked "The Apostle," parts of which were filmed in Dallas and Denton. Robert wrote and starred in the movie, a Southern Gothic film about a charismatic Pentecostal Texas preacher named Sonny Dewey. Marlon Brando loved it and I do, too.

The relationship between generative AI and productive force is mostly sleight-of-hand -- it's a way to take credit for other's work, to persuade people to do the same amount of work for less compensation, etc.

These systems are not all-in-1 answer production machines, they are collections of stats & regularities spat out via fucking dice rolls
How many times, in how many contexts, in how many ways am I going to have to say that this is what "AI" does— what it fundamentally *is*— before it sinks in? That all Bullshit engines do is statistically correlate training data & inputs via their weights to produce outputs you are likely to accept…
