because of course trans people need access to medical care regardless! the position you're critiquing is not meant as a contradiction to that at all. and to force it to be articulated outside of its target audience is silly.

the intent behind that position is not to invalidate necessity of medical treatment that many (perhaps even most) trans ppl experience, but rather to validate the existing internal feelings of those who opt out. to say it applies to the former in any way is rhetorically meaningless.

but there's funny situations where crucial story text is sandwiched between other stuff in the data like "play my mini game again? yes no" "Hurry Link! You must defeat ganon with the master sword!" "You beat the record time! Here is your reward!"

most of it is "buy x for y rupees? yes no" or "enemy name kill with your sword!" or "you got a thing! use it with buttons!" and most of it's grouped together which saves hella time
