Fascism, like the fog, creeps in on little kitty feet. History repeats itself, not because we didn't learn from it, but because we rationalize that we won't repeat the same mistakes -that this time, things are different -that we aren't horrible as those people in the past -that we have progressed.

Why is this murder different from all other murders?
The murder of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson and the media circus and police manhunt that has followed, have gotten me to wonder why is this murder different from all other murders (roughly 400 murders annually in New York City)?
