I'm flying from Ottawa to Toronto today on an almost empty plane, meaning that there aren't enough people at the back. So some will need to move.
Originally, I was seated all the way at the back. But I upgraded to Business Class. So I'm feeling some of the blame, but without the shame. 😁

I used to sell stormwater products, and one thing that's often used in Europe but rarely in North America are trench drains. They can provide a lot of drainage and prevent pooling, and it is especially useful at low points. They even prevent the need for curbs. Montréal has them on Ste-Catherine W.

This was my bike commute yesterday evening. It's the last of the kind for this season since it will rain in Ottawa from here until Sunday. Then DST ends and I won't leave work until after the sun is setting.

After dinner, I told my husband that I'm feeling under the weather and I'll retire to my home office to play some #railwayempire. He rolled his eyes at me, saying that I was going to play that regardless. I replied saying he was right. I do very much love that game. 😀

In a few wks, my hubby and I are going to Vancouver with Porter, which has a special fare structure. All the seats are econ, but the front ones have more leg room, and a few out of those get a free meal. We'll be in the spacious row behind the "frills" section. I imagine our FA will be doing this. 🤭

I decided to actually go out for a bike ride to attend the #nokings / #notyrants protest in Ottawa. It seemed like a small group, but I had to join them after what the US Ambassador said. Also, my husband made a pun that I had to put on a placard! 😀

Last winter, I started a hockey training program with the queer league in Ottawa. Unfortunately, after 1 session, I fell off a bike and broke my shoulder.

I took my bike out at my favourite local beach today, and I actually tried out the time-lapse function on my GoPro while stationary, using my bike as a stand. I love how it turned out! 😀

The other photo was taken last Sunday after her celebration of life. I wore the style of shoes she loved. ❤️
