Life is a bike path, and I want to ride it all day long. It's kind of what I do already.

Is that the best insult he can come up with? Yes, I think it is. 🤨

I read the book in French and I loved it! I'm also not a big reader, so that says a lot haha.

That McDonald's was legendary. Going in there, especially after midnight, was kind of asking for trouble.

The worst I witnessed was a group of people being carried out by security and thrown on the street, with the door being locked behind them. They then tried to break the windows. 😮

There are billionaires cheating the tax systems and making profit from public projects and subsidies. So I really don't care about a minority of people cheating the system if it means helping those truly in need.

This reminds me of the Carlingwood Mall in Ottawa where their slogan was pretty much "Plenty of Parking." They kept repeating that phrase in their commercials. I actually wrote to them that they should mention the OC Transpo routes that serve it, such as the frequent 85. 😁

🤦‍♂️

Another person who is totally out of touch with REAL problems. 🙄

Other than that, the most common offences that I would see every single day, whether on bike or foot, are drivers stopping in a crosswalk instead of the stop line.

The most dangerous ones, which is accidental, are right hooks. Near misses may happen once a month. In the 5 years I've been doing this, I actually slammed into a car.

And one time I had the ROW going straight, but an opp left turning car plowed through nearly hitting me and crossing pedestrians.

When there is no snow, I do 62 km r/t between Kanata & St-Laurent. I can't give you statistics, but I may start if I have a reason to record them.

Most offences I see are not stopping at reds before turning right or stop signs. Probably once per week.

No joke, j'ai entendu cette chanson la première fois cette année hier. Je pense que je suis dans la minorité qui l'adore. J'étais dans un café à Montréal et la nostalgie m'est rendu un peu emotionel. 😅

Well that's sus. How do I really know if you're wearing sunglasses or not? 🤔🙃

I pretty much only listen to CBC. I'd love to see them in this chart. I think they'd be right at the top, maybe left leaning. They have a reputation in Canada for being "liberal propaganda." But I think that's what people who don't listen to it think.

One thing that's interesting is that this is a pyramid. The more an agency leans left or right, the less reliable or accurate they are. So when certain politicians think that "mainstream media" are all leftists or whatever, they're just stating facts!

Unless this sign is designed to fall on speeding cars, I'm not interested. 😤

As a Canadian, I am also annoyed. Especially when we have the nicer one in October. 😀

I've been doing this on my ebike lately, and it's sooooo satisfying!

When I take the bus/lrt from Kanata to St-Laurent for work, I don't get that same level of satisfaction because the bus gets stuck in with the cars on the Kichi Zībī Mīkan. 😑

Alberta and the feds reeps the rewards while BC takes the risks. I wonder what's wrong with this arrangement? 🤔

Last week, I was quite excited about a screening of this queer hockey movie. But I then found out it starts at 9. Yes, starts at! And it was all the way downtown. They would have to drag my sleepy ass out of there when the movie's over!
