I just put a new basket on the back of my bike. 4 bolts with nuts and washers. Held the bolts with my left hand and turned the nuts with my right one. Moaned the whole time and had to stop and le down half way through because of left shoulder pain.

I think that whenever I feel like I've read enough and am finally ready to write my rant, I might write a long version first then go back and cut it down to a short version. I might also try running it past some shoulder surgery forum commenters before inflicting it on a doctor.

People who don't know me won't know that my stage 4 chondral damage was discovered only after 8 years of bullshit following the surgery for the complete pectoral tear that had gone unnoticed by doctor after doctor after doctor for the previous 20 years. So now you know.

Anyways I've been reading through some shoulder surgery textbooks that I downloaded from Anna's Archive lately. Very slowly, on account of reading a lot makes my shoulder hurt.

I've got a feeling that if I could take a time machine and get an mri of my glenohumeral joint during that 2-year period leading up to my accident when all those idiot doctors kept sending me back for ever-more physical therapy for my shoulder pain that I'd find pretty severe damage already.

The only reason I found out that the cartilage in my shoulder is pretty much all gone is because I got an MRI of the whole shoulder just to see what was there rather than a focused one based on the standard clinical examination tests that are slightly more scientific than water dowsing.

I need to learn to switch on my voice recorder app or whatever quickly so I might catch the words whenever I spontaneously break into a rant at an imaginary orthopedic surgeon and thereupon may type them up at my leisure. Or alternatively get an app that will do it for me I guess.
