but post Brexit regulations, the impact of Covid on long-standing partnerships and cultural /regulatory shifts (including on safeguarding) mean that European and international youth exchanges are much more complicated to organise.

We discussed this very theme at the French Forum organised at the University of Bristol with the support of @frenchinstituteuk.bsky.social + French embassy. It was great to hear from DfE representatives on this topic. There is a clear appetite from school teachers to organise trips and exchanges.
