I cannot get the deal with large glyph set fonts that don't have superscript letters. You somehow found the time to make Old Church Slavonic Cyrillic and polytonic Greek ranges and couldn't draw an 'e' so people could typeset in French? Really?

Starting a couple of book threads. With apologies to @sharonk.bsky.social, because theirs is excellent and useful. The thesis of this first one is that, when we think of persuasion, we tend to think of text as being active, with the images at best being "dressing" (clothes/sauce). This is mistaken.
