Nostalgia - and the fact that IRCv3 has a lot of the features I would want in draft form, so my brain can hyperfocus on it better. :p

The worst murder I remember growing up was when my Dad said one morning "I found a bit in the kitchen.... as in the back half of a rabbit...".

Not a pretty sight.

I wish I wasn't so zonked in the evenings that I collapse into bed after taking my gel.

docs.rs/bit-int/late... exists in the meantime, unsure if it solves your specific problem or if it's maintained enough?

Can I ask if there are any updates on Wayland support with KDE 6.8 moving to Wayland-only? Or are you not familiar with the updates in/around Talon itself? I've been meaning to learn but my main system is a Linux box that needs Wayland to prevent device freezes (RDNA 3.5 issues).

Yeah I am in the same boat - Edwardian mid-terrace house, and windows without trickle vents because it was before the legislation requiring them, so the energy efficiency is often pants. Especially in the cheaply built extension out the back.

I would caveat this and say that removal of self-referrals seems pretty damn ridiculous if your GP/CCG ain't co-operating, but if the local hubs get the power to prescribe I guess that's a small win for moving CCGs if you can't afford private care.

To be clear: I have other reasons long term to look at a move besides the economics - my partner and I are working out the finer details because I don't know that I will be able to call myself "wife" otherwise, but that's a different kettle of fish.

The amount of splash damage you've given me from these points makes it all the more sad when you realise that the only way this is going to happen is a Green-majority cabinet - or possibly a Green/LD/SNP coalition. And when you realise how unlikely that is, you work on a long term plan to leave.

Because you don't allow yourself to accept you are also all those things.
