Buildings always look sad when they're new. The OL looks like it has enough breathing room for the grounds to transform it over time.

It's not a great comparison, because it's on more land in a warmer climate, but here's the Carter Center in the 80s and 20s. The site was pretty lush by +15y, IIRC.

Aaand here's where I am (on hiatus.) I made little adjustable dividers to hold 1 and 2 pound bundles in the Adeptus units.

They're *okay* for keeping shorts grouped, but I find myself opening each drawer for inspiration. I should probably attach scraps or cabs to the outsides to aid visualization.

Adeptus wide wood drawers are inexpensive, sturdy, and about the right width for cane. I wouldn't do this with a knockoff brand, because shit's heavy.

This does depend on rubber or paper bands for grouping. Paper's inconvenient, leading to chaos; rubber rots onto the glass.

PVC-in-box is popular. It's a bit messy and doesn't handle shorts AT ALL. Can be sideways, if the tubes are leveled and fixed in place.

It's adequate and super cheap.

These are mostly 1.25", thin walled PVC. I think each cell is about 15" and holds a couple of pounds, so one crate would do.

25 pounds isn't too much for tall jars, if you have the surface area. They're ADHD-friendly, work fine for shorts, and you can carry them to your work area.

They have to be made of glass or weighted, of course, because metal or plastic will tip.

Sorry, it's only a joke in the one sense, not the other.

Please find the person who substituted the Ctrl key for a useless AND unmappable button on this laptop

And all their bosses

Deliver them to me, along with one half-height locker.

Truer words.

Now I'm thinking about this local ichthyologist and science prof who never under any circumstances shuts up about metal shows.

I'm on an errand in Nashville, and just discovered they have an outlet of the long-gone campy-pretentious cafe where my friends and I spent so many late nights in the nineties.

Feeling very mushy and nostalgic.

Omg, I hadn't heard about that. Seems like she never took the factory film off of the keyboard shown below, and posted an otherwise cute cat blep photo long after the film had become distorted and discolored.

Are they implying that companies only pull this shit on coked up traders? Because I can fucking assure them that this dumbass room with its poorly designed bespoke multi-monitor mounts and broken acoustics was, in its day, evenly divided between incredibly loud sports fans and near-suicidal autists.
