Yes. The streamer usually shares both the game content and their own face/audio, while the viewers participate in a text chat the streamer can see as they play. So the streamer is talking out loud, the chat are communicating via text, but they're all in conversation together.

Yeah, it's a tough one to navigate. People usually don't initiate it when they have multiple serious partners, only FWBs, playmates, etc, but even so there tend to be a lot of big feelings to work through.

So set some boundaries around your time. Use it for the things that matter--yourself, the people and causes you care about, your environment, so on. Don't waste it on the demands of others unless you are getting something that's worth it in return.

Your ability to preserve time from your employer might be limited, but even there you can set boundaries--and the others, you're completely free to! (And remember: boundaries are rules you set for yourself about how to respond to certain situations, NOT attempts to control others.)
