I needed a bit more precision when searching for Bluesky users, so I built this user search app - and ended up fleshing it out more than planned! 😅 Would delighted to hear if you find it useful.

This is a good take.

Kids are a good way to explain LLMs.

- Trained on limited data.
- Answer based on that limited data are often incorrect and/or involve poo references.
- Hallucinate answers like they can't eat because there are squirrels in the wardrobe.
- Will say yOu'Re aBsOluTeLy RighT and do the opposite anyway

Why Women in Tech isn't enough
Women in Tech spaces help, but fall short in the long run. Real progress needs systemic change and active involvement from men in positions of power.

As I don't want to to be the holiday season Grinch, static snow will now be rendered instead of nothing if the user prefers reduced motion 💪

If anyone wants some animated snow for their app, here's a pen of my "Snowverlay" (not sorry 😏).

Note: If prefers reduce motion is on, nothing will show.

It's not a terribly complex app. However. it was nice to use @vite.dev again, tackle my own issues etc. and not have to deal with mystical Next.js problems where I'm like is it me... is it them... WHY IS THE BUNDLE SO HUGE?!

You know how it goes. Since I got more than 3 likes on my search app, that means I must expand my collection of domain names. The only difference is this new one will actually be used 👀

That said, you can now find Bluesky user search over at:
