Piss.
@frozenpbr.bsky.social
A never-ending waterslide of piss. He/Him. Pro wrestling fan. Tacky neon sign enjoyer. Probably watching a movie.
Was watching an interview with Sam Reich I wanna say, and he mentioned how odd it was that our government has no Department of the Arts, and it seemed so obvious at first but like, damn, yeah we really could use one. Especially with movies and music publishing being controlled by so few companies.

They come away with another tackle and a funky piece on D in the draft, with that cap space... could be real fun next year.

I wish they'd won, but man what a turnaround since the TDL. Can't help but be encouraged going into next year. Schottenheimer's 4th down process seems to be entirely random, but given the hand he's been playing I just can't help but be impressed.

We are simply going to win and it will be beautiful. My week-to-week outlook for America is bleak, my outlook for 5-10 years from now has massively brightened. Gotta keeping the fuckin ball.

It's a swing.

I think if he should see if MLW would hook him up with some behind-the-scenes work. I see a lot of value in him as a guy to have around, especially given how seriously he took himself as a safe guy to work with. Idk how much the character gets you in that environment.

one of the most progressive things my high school did was kill valedictorian and salutatorian. The margins between the top like 8 students got to such a razor thin margin that they felt it had become entirely arbitrary.

13-14 feels right. Think the defense has to stack a couple more games before you entertain em as a top 10 team.

and I say that as a 28 year old who got his ADHD diagnosis... at 27. Mostly because my family did not believe those things were real

Agreed wholeheartedly in the cases of violence. Really think "disruption" is wildly unfair to expel someone over without, like, a thorough exhausting of explanations. There's just too many things that can cause you to be bad in class that you can't control or stop without a psychiatrist.

like I've seen people bring guns to school and escape expulsion so you can understand why my bar is a bit different lol
December 2, 2025 at 7:39 PM
Was unaware the school in question was private. I only referred to what I'd seen in public schools because that's my lived experience. I agree with kicking them out. As someone who's only been to public schools, expulsion is something I've only ever seen doled out over felonies occurring on grounds.

I have my own insights, never said anywhere that I had more of em, nor will I pretend do. I was pretty upfront about what I did and didn't know.
December 2, 2025 at 7:27 PM
I wouldn't know. Don't know how prep schools work. Can only speak on my learned experience and failure I saw in my own educational upbringing.
December 2, 2025 at 7:24 PM
and how is a school gonna mind that gap in need if a boy has particularly... we'll say "difficult" parents that like to use their kid as a prop, or worse, shame them for going along with regular curriculum? It's a pretty common problem these days. The "parents' rights" problem is pretty large.

I do also think it's worth noting that these guys are on the same page in a lot of ways that extend beyond their competition. They're colleagues, they share a union, they share representation, a lot of em have been teammates or around one another since they were pre-teens. Idk if the fit is 1:1 tbh
December 2, 2025 at 7:00 PM
They're only true if both of you wanna play ball. I had classmates randomly trying to compete with me in classes where I was just trying to mind my own business and it definitely worsened my time in said classes.
December 2, 2025 at 6:58 PM
and I wanna be clear that I'm not blaming rank-and-file school employees for any of this. They're the ones that are being forced to show growth and success when every class is heterogenous or else risk losing their jobs. This is what happens when you have to thread such an absurd needle.

Because we've, unfortunately, reduced the K-12 experience to a largely administrative one. It's about box checking and graduation rates and test scores. So you quickly hit a point where you stop helping kids and start finding ways to make the Scantrons score better.

School is a reflection of society. Should those boys have been punished more effectively? Yes, but we only know how to do that in ways that set them further back and create a death spiral. We sent problem kids to a separate school with worse resources in my county. That's damnation, not correction.
