I don't necessarily think there's a world where this scheme works out, but I also don't know how well Eberflus was ever gonna pivot after losing a top 3 defensive player in the sport right before kickoff either. Rock and a hard place on defense. That offense can hang with anybody at least.

Great piece! Honestly, the thing that encouraged me the most when Schottenheimer was building out his staff was his willingness to bring guys in from so many different situations and pick things out that he liked from their respective teams' offenses. Lot of variety in that offense.
