A devastating tragedy occurred in my life this year and took me away from myself for the last six months. I miss him every day. I'm scared to start over but I want to go on living again. Goodbye 2024.

Still stuck in cityworld, ordered spores and other nice things. My mind is so enthralled by this species.

pls forgive me if I've forgotten how to tweet. in 2021 I deactivated for 30 days and it *auto-deletes your account*. I was ~rattled~ to the core to lose my favourite platform but now bsky is even nicer, it's almost worthwhile 🥹

Posted in Buckinghamshire, sent by a friend in the UK. I'm not mush of a cosmonaut but Psilocybin is quite safe, legal and easy to learn about at home. Don't risk trigger-happy farmers just to go rooting through cowpats for wavy caps. Risk outweighs reward.

you know that feeling when your ride is thankfully unhurt in a minor traffic collision but it means your woodland walk fell through and you tried not to feel miffed so just bingewatched Peter Stamets and went wild with an extra large boba tea? that was my weekend. there'll be more.

Oh I just love this *new Google game they're doing with the voice search specifically for fungi.

Me: "show me, Fungi: hebeloma aminophilum"

Google: "Showing Phone Guy, he'll be over in an an old film."

We must subdue the robots at all costs.

I used to go to festivals and now I go to forests.

It's Friday which means the weekend which means woodland walks full of flora, fungi and fauna.

I for one am living for it.

Immature Hypholoma? -Capnoides or -Fasciculare?
No gills, closed web. I'm guessing coniferous.

Lycoperdon perlatum - a dusky little puffball. Mind-blowingly delicious.

Just some general forest beauty from Cratloe in Western Ireland, mostly coniferous here but ancient oaks can still be found.

Oh, the humble little brown mushroom. Galerina or Gymnophilus? Or something else? Found in old growth Irish forest.
