I’m not a lawyer, but I don’t see how there would be. Unless somebody could prove that they *did not* post or email such a thing, and that you created a fake image in order to slander them, it would be very hard to even bring any sort of case.

I think for the contrarians who are not actually in positions of power/influence and aren’t actively seeking to get into those circles, they’re people who bought into this idea that liberalism/atheism/multiculturalism is the “new religion” and as “intellectuals” like to reject all forms of “dogma.”

Huh, guess it all depends on the person. I won’t pretend that I have never had a biased or stereotypical reaction to someone of a different background, but the idea of it consuming my life & identity is unimaginable for me. My priorities are to personally thrive & then help others to do the same.
