When you discuss other people, you should emphasize that they are People, not that they are Other.
Snoot!

The closest thing to venom I’ve used in this back and forth is addressing you by the name you’ve chosen.

I don’t think this is a productive conversation, so I’ll just wish you well.

Don’t Let Your Soul Smell Like Ass might be my next protest sign.

I misread this as:

The American flag is one of the most potent symbols in politics and you can claim it for your side if you have a huge advantage.

And I think that’s also true.

I said this: "I don't have the depth of knowledge of Venezuela to answer in detail...." So you decided to ask for more detail? And about a tangent that didn't address my point? Maybe I'm just grumpy today, but this doesn't feel like you're engaging in good faith.

No one owes you an answer, Mr. Dogpenis.

So much easier when you only stock 3000 items. (Actual number from Price Club, which later merged with Costco. They compared that with 100,000 SKUs at Sears.)

The UK, which had recently considered PAYING £1M each to 1800 Falkland islanders to leave (since the cost of supporting a tiny island of sheep herders 10,000 miles away was vastly more than the tax revenue generated), then sent an entire carrier group to retake the islands from Argentina.

I was told I just needed to keep the sample warm and bring it to the hospital in a short amount of time (1 hour?). Still kinda awkward dropping the sample off at the lab though.

Counterpoint: I think it's strongly implied that "he has no plan" refers to *plans to help people* and in that respect it's very much true.

I don't have the depth of knowledge of Venezuela to answer in detail, but: Maduro and his VP are VERY corrupt; corruption immiserates the working classes; she ran on anti-corruption; she won a Nobel Peace Prize.

Oil prices aren’t falling because of Venezuela—the infrastructure isn’t there to have any short term impact. Fossil fuel prices are falling because renewables are replacing them more at more and thus reducing demand. It’s that simple.
