Help the family shovel, play Gameboy and watch 80's movies like Monster Squad and Howling 2. Into my teens, the movie selections evolved, my grandfather got me into classic horror with Karloff, Lugosi and Chaney and Gameboy was replaced with drawing.

I also think about turning 50 and a well-meaning person said it was wise I’d pivoted to score work, not just because of the pandemic but because “not many people will pay to see a middle aged woman onstage”.
