I’ve been putting blue in my hair for years but my stylist has moved away so I went for a consultation at a new salon.

COLORIST: Do you wear gold or silver jewelry?

ME: I don’t wear jewelry

COLORIST: Ok but if you did?

ME: Bones and crow feathers

COLORIST: Hm, cool colors I think

Thanks @charlesgaba.com for sharing all this ACA coverage info that our government should be providing (along with a lot of other things) but isn’t.

As a survivor of the Tulsa Race Massacre, Viola Ford Fletcher bravely shared her story so that we’d never forget this painful part of our history. Michelle and I are grateful for her lifelong work to advance civil rights, and send our love to her family.

The free internet is over. Even without the bogus AI generated content, pages are unreadable. Tiny bits of text sandwiched between massive ads. When an ad pops up over a page, I’m outta there and wash off my data every day because it’s all so gross. On the plus side, I’m using my cookbooks again.

The original report was false.

I love it when the cat kneads itself into a drugged stupor on a blanket but then gets a claw stuck and as you try to help them detach they rocket off and shoot halfway up a wall in terror

I’m always here to help filmmakers with a mournful bit of music
A wonderful surprise is the mournful cello music of Zoe Keating. #KenBurns #AmericanRevolution
Ps if you watch the Ken Burns American Revolution series keep your ears peeled for a certain looping Canadian American cellist 😇

Wish I could have been there! Amy Goodman is a national treasure and it was an honor to make music for this film about her and her work. Independent journalism is more crucial than ever. Stay tuned for the theatrical run of “Steal This Story, Please!” in 2026 ❤️
