Yeah, I can confirm that kids seem to love 'Trouble' and also 'Tiny Witch Hunter'

What's your problem? I don't find it impossible not to misunderstand that.

"Falling Up (For Amanda)" is an all-time classic in my house.

Cook up some chopped onions, celery, garlic, peppers, carrots with fennel seeds and smoked paprika, add chopped tinned tomatoes, butter beans and pieces of leftover pork. Season it very well and cool it looks and slow until it's yum. *You may end up too much but it will freeze.

I love that one as well, he has some recent stuff that Marc & Gideon were playing only last week on 6music.

It's a piece of work innit? I'd forgotten what it was like to have a new Cardiacs album to process. Tim's music lights up parts of my brain like nothing else. Total respect to all involved in making it happen, especially Jim...man, what a trip!

The big parallel is that Bowie knew he was dying and was unable to appear in person, so it meant that Lynch had to be creative with his character. I know Tim loved Lynch and I wonder if he saw The Return? If he did he may have felt a little like Jeffries, trapped away from his body.

Oh crikey, I made it to Brighton and it was magical and completely overwhelming. We're all so lucky. Big love to you both. X

Aw nah! Mine only arrived today. Did you make it to a listening party?
September 18, 2025 at 9:39 PM
Last night in Brighton was magic. My first listen, an overwhelming psychedelic experience and an outpouring of emotion. This isn't mere music.

It's a lovely album and reminds me of another time, but did you know he had an active account here? @robcrow.bsky.social

IIRC The End of the World has 14 beats to the verse and some other shenanigans going on elsewhere.
