Im taking notes 🤔🔥

I really want to make it in my new career path, but I don't want to lose who I am, what I stand for, and how hard I'm willing to fight for it along the way.

I don't have it in me to be a corporate cog-wheel, to shut up and be a good worker ant, to not stand up for what I believe in and speak about it where I can.

I'm preaching to the choir here, but I dont really want to end up in a place where i become outnumbered by opposing hostility.

A) Job Searching and Applications
B) Networking and communication

I just don't feel like associating with people who disagree on VERY core values that I have, and I'd rather wear my heart on my sleeve so that things are relatively straight forward and there's no miscommunication.

I'd really appreciate feedback from people specifically in IT / Cyber, or those with hiring / management responsibilities. I'm trying to figure out how much I'd be putting at risk here, or if there's a benefit to letting a potential employer know everything about me is an exact match for them.

I get it would definitely limit my options, especially in IT / Cyber, and those morals typically dont affect whatever job environment I'd be in, but id rather align with the place I'm gonna be spending 33% of my life at, you know?

Any advice / Input on that front?
