3) Until fairly recently, only the "pure" English were seen in the US as "true", & really white, Americans. So unless you & your ancestors are purely of English descent, the xenophobes throughout US history argued that YOUR kind was not wanted, & was sub-human (especially southern/eastern europeans)

MAGA = GOP/conservatism. Always has, especially since the Civil Rights Era when cons went nuts b/c other ppl besides straight, white, male christians started to actually gain some civil rights & social opportunities/acceptance.

I think candidates should have at least 120 IQ mandatory, proven by school records. The office, & modern world, is simply too complex for even high average people to be in charge of a nation. This "anyone can be potus" is killing us, & has given us moron GOP presidents since Reagan (except Bush Sr).

15 is not "barely legal" in any state. 16 is the minimum age of consent in most, then 17, then 18 in a minority of states.

I'm firmly in the skepticism about moral responsibility/character camp: most of what we are & do is not up to us.
That's why it's hard for me to hate: yes, I even have a measure of sympathy for monsters like T b/c they're obviously suffering so much & much of the reason why is not their fault. 1/
