You are making people think that abusers aren't as bad as they truly are and the damage is being drastically shown. If producers like Viv keep pushing this narrative we will enter an age of media that is so horrid the damage will be damn near irreparable.

The one valid concern about Hazbin Hotel and you actively chose not to change the scenes or the lyrics. That is utterly foul of you. Disgusting. The nosedive I've been witnessing from Hazbin has not been an amusing one to watch and it's only going to get worse from here.

You absolutely have the right to be concerned. I am also upset that the scenes weren't retconned, and the lyrics are very disgusting. If racism is the commentary here it's definitely not something that should've been held off. The point should've been made sooner.

Even with this explanation its still very much downplaying the abuse the series so desperately wants us to take seriously. It makes it no better that the shows twitter has sexualized Val twice now. They don't give a shit about their topics, they just want performative points

I understand being disappointed learning that a character doesn't represent the group you thought they did. But to act like the creator did it in spite, that they're some hateful bigot or trying to appeal to the chuds is egotistical and reaks of main character syndrome.

Yeah... Because she treats the topic of rape like SHIT. Yeah there's graphic scenes in the show but when you don't treat your topic respectfully even outside of that and numb down the victim it comes off as strange. Also I'm black and you're like what 20+? I will use my mouth how I wish, shut up.
