Seems they were recording a special called "Surviving Gilligan's Island" (there's an ad in the credits for a tape of it for $9.95 lmao) and it ran over into the news (mid October 2001). This is the exact kind of thing I expect out of a random unmarked VHS tape. I love it

Incredible. Bought the tape earlier, realized I already had it on DVD, and I swear, seeing them next to each other made me wish I had a LaserDisc copy. I can't rationalize collecting LaserDiscs though, until I find some cool ones for cheap and decide they're the best
