Retired firefighter, concussion survivor, and social justice warrior. Woke as fuck, because being woke is way better than the alternative. Looking forward to things getting better.
What fun. So the separation of Church and State is officially over? Or can Mosques and Temples also endorse candidates.

To start, the painting hasn't been on public display, so that wouldn't work. Then there's the fact that ER doesn't throw soup at every piece of artwork, as that would be impossible.
Finally, what the hell are you on about? The left and fascist neo hippies? Make up your mind! They're not equivalent

Yeah, if you look at the list of items that people have identified as stolen, the British Museum would be empty. John Oliver did an amazing episode on it.

Was my first guess. Of course, since the feds are the ones investigating, and Bondi seems to lose files she has on her desk....

Yikes. I went down a rabbit hole on this one. Seems his co-conspirator Poole was also a Republican. At least he donates to a Republican State Senator in Kentucky

But when Transport Canada looks at that and says "good point", you can expect slower ferries as they then make people wait until the vessel is docked before letting them move down.

/end thread.

One last complaint about the writer of this opinion piece. The argument that allowing passengers to return to their vehicles while the ferry is approaching the terminal may seem like a gotcha moment.

They could hardly be MORE open. Note that the Queen of the North had true enclosed vehicle decks.

Also, the argument that people can't move through the vehicles to an exit is pretty weird, since they are supposed to be spaced 24 inches apart, and PEOPLE ACTUALLY DO MOVE THROUGH TWICE EVERY SAILING
July 16, 2025 at 10:05 PM
There IS a point about what actually constitutes an "enclosed vehicle deck". With the exception of the Spirit Class ferries, all other ships in the fleet are actually open to the sides. Take a look at the photos BC Ferries publishes. Every vehicle deck has openings all the way down each car deck
July 16, 2025 at 10:02 PM
The writer claims that "no one has died" on a car deck. In fact, the two people who were killed on the Queen of the North are believed to have snuck onto the car deck. Other jurisdictions have had fatalities where people were on the car deck.

However...

Comment: B.C. Ferries' car-deck rule makes no sense
We did not have a ferry reservation so we suffered a two-sailing wait, and when we finally boarded the ferry, we were assigned to the “deck of doom.”

Wait. People have to own homes in order to get pregnant? Damn.

Ooh ooh! I know! How about Russia pulls back 200 kms from the pre Sochi Olympics borders, Putin surrenders to the ICC, and all the NATO countries except the US patrol the DMZ? And Belarus has supervised elections?

And every other square inch of Ukranian territory.

Or, and hear me out now.... Tell Putin to pound sand, advance to Moscow, and take out the penis potato.
