"Staring contest"
Lately, a couple of White-tailed Deer have taken to hanging around my house. They are very cautious and scamper whenever I open the door. That's fine, I'd rather they didn't develop a taste for my garden plants!

"Autumn star"
This pretty Aster is the last flower to bloom in my yard. The bright lilac-shaded flowers are the only spot of color left in the sad, grey November landscape.
