The Studio, Seth Rogen's new movie-biz comedy series on Apple, went from "Hey, this is good!" to "Oh, this is great" for me in just two episodes. Can't wait to see the rest of it.

I laughed a lot at Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's new Apple series The Studio, an equal parts bitter and affectionate Hollywood satire — that's also a stealth sequel to The Player?!?!

THE STUDIO (Apple TV+) is a hilarious and accurate depiction of what would actually happen if someone from Film Twitter became head of a major Hollywood film studio: a complete and utter catastrophe that would lay waste to that studio’s goodwill and cultural legacy.

Highly recommended.

The second episode of The Studio is one of the best gimmicky episodes of TV I’ve ever seen.

This is what revisionist history looks like, in real time. And this also is why it might appear that archaeologists and historians have to dig deep to discover the existence of powerful women and marginalized groups -- because their legacies are so often erased.
