Reminder: my book "It's a sign" is available for a mere £7 plus postage!
A festival of found, improved, debased, repurposed and insane signage from across the realm. Made over a long photographic career, these images build a story of chaos and the absurd bursting into daily life.

I often think of my work as ruins in the future. Unfortunately it won't look like this- it'll just be a pile of obsolete hard drives which can no longer be accessed. Ah well, let's get some printing done as a talisman against oblivion..

Direct action against genocide is not a crime!
I oppose genocide and I support non-violent action to stop it by any means necessary.

My university is being run by trivial people. Even when asked by funders 'what do you need to thrive?' all they can do is describe ways to kick shit out of the staff. It's all they know or understand.

A surprise on the upper slopes of Suilven: a magpie moth. There were lots of them at about 2,000 feet, where the slope tends ever more vertical. I now know a lot more about butterflies moths and their differences.

Another from "It's a Sign"- one of a pair of new photozines I have released this month. Tidal Metal, as you will remember, was a neo-grunge trance slam speed metal group from Silvertown, whose second John Peel session led to questions in the House of Commons. #photography #signage #selfpublish

Good morning,
I have made a couple of photozines: get them directly from me or from Street Level Glasgow. 'BELTANE' is about the pagan festival before it became a ticketed fully marshalled experience.'It's a Sign' is a compendium of strange, defaced, deranged and random signage across the realm.
