Oregon National Guard Adjutant General, General Gronewold says if they are federalized, that he will advise the Title 10 commander to utilize National Guard Troops to PROTECT protesters at ICE facilities. This is the right answer.

Every single time I’ve had the displeasure of being near that building in the last decade, somebody going by was flipping the bird at it reflexively. I was also flipping the bird at it but I’m a tourist, some folks probably do it multiple times a day because it’s just on their commute.

Exactly. I don't understand why people keep saying "woah" is a misspelling of "whoa." To me, they've always seemed like two different words.

If it matters, my idiolect retains the w/wh distinction.

In California, where I live, and a few other states, most of the place names are Spanish because Spanish-speaking foreigners settled here before English-speaking foreigners did.
