A friend waited in a line to meet his favorite singer. For an hour, he agonized over exactly how he’d congratulate her on her newfound success.

In all seriousness, I’d submit the shot of Lavinia from Julie Taymor’s Titus (Dec 1999). It’s so gorgeously shot, but the subject matter is too disturbing for me to post. It’s the one cinematic image that’s haunted me since I first saw it.
