The places we’re pulling foreign aide dollars from now are the places we’ll be forced to send American soldiers to risk their lives in ten years.
Freezing foreign aide and closing the refugee program is WAY beyond “prioritizing Americans” and much more like saying “only Americans count as humans.”
And don’t tell me we can’t afford those programs when we’re about to cut taxes for the wealthy and raise them on workers.

What side of the debates does Joe take? The good writing side. Appreciates analytics for that they are, but breaks down things in a thought-provoking way. Can tell a good story, break down a play, a trade or a weird roster decision for bench players in a way that makes you take a new look at things.
