I will say this again and again until the cap fetishists get it. There is a 1:1 correlation between "leagues that have broken their unions" and "leagues with a payroll cap." Let that be a clue as to who wins in a cap system.

I’m not going to fight about this, but the Yankees tied for the best record in the AL after losing their #1 starter in March. If you think that’s evidence of managerial failure, it’s a you problem.

While I understand that it's a pain in the ass for local fans, and as I wrote the other day MLB should spread it around more fairly, October day baseball is just gorgeous and I hope it never goes away.
