This is not a scam, it's a fun cartridge design that Shiggy likes to place in some game boxes. The googly eye will fit perfectly into any Nintendo Switch.
A widespread fraud has been reported recently whereby seemingly sealed Switch games, among them many Mario games, contain a googly eye instead of a game (to mimic the cartridge rattling). Please check all games at the counter after buying to ensure the presence of the cartridge.
