it's nice to see at a time when Other operating systems changed terminology such as "your pc" in their interface to "this pc"

I have an ancient logitech driving force GT wheel. it's unsupported on windows 11, and to use it on versions of windows it IS compatible with, i have to install drivers/software that haven't been updated or maintained since like. 2012. on linux, the driver was in the kernel and it worked immediately

this is the crux of it, right there. it's YOUR machine, you can do what YOU want with it, up to and including breaking it entirely. drivers / software / compatibility layers don't exist for everything, but enough interest from the right parties can change that in an instant

if the steam frame is affordable, it might finally unshackle a lot of people from meta's already weak grasp

a one time currency gift like this isn't a bonus or them being generous, either. It's to give you currency to use on the store so you can get that little hit of retail therapy dopamine and become more likely to open your own wallet
