here's some, by now old, test footage of when I got really interested in archer gameplay near the beginning of July for some mysterious reason and had the urge to go finish my ranged weapons' movesets

the file is even named 'ironeye_test'

also, two-handing, power-stancing and player controlled sheathe/unsheathe!

when the weapon allows for it, they'd give you new movesets based on weapon category

finished the weapon handling functionality!

combat is fully agnostic to what hand you're holding a weapon, both for basic attacks and skills, allowing you to equip and use weapons on whatever hand you want (with combat animations mirrored as needed based on the hand holding the skill source)

been refactoring the effect/projectile system to clean-up gohorses and allow some stuff like this fire lance effect that makes a smart use of the "channeling" structure, where you hold the input to keep an effect going until your magic bar runs out, usually for things like beams and flamethrowers
