A mixture of native flowers and exotics, all beneficial to pollinators, make an exquisite blend pink and purple. Easy on the eye and kind to the planet.

Fallen leaves do NOT break into your house and steal stuff! They are food for wildlife of all kinds and turn into rich soil.
Leave the leaves!

That’s cool. You could always leave them on the flower beds and great to hear that you are composting them. Many people just burn them or throw them away.

These aren’t offhand remarks. They’re a pattern.

They minimise. Mock. Downplay. Delay. Ignore.

The climate crisis is here. The question is: will our leaders wake up before it’s too late.

No problem. We bought three and we’re going to put one in the community garden. We gave one to The School and then we’re doing this competition to give away the other one. Hopefully it gets people interested in hedgehogs and their welfare.

Manchán’s sustainable lifestyle was more than idealism it was committed practice. His legacy asks: What sustainable act will you plant today?

In his memory, I’ll plant these native flowers this weekend.
I invite you to share one small biodiversity action you’ll take? #speirgorm
