That is true, but the Tories are in no place to make that argument (having cynically created the original budget black hole under Sunak/Hunt, and being the handmaidens of ruinous Brexit), while Reform is too busy burning crosses (and is also the progenitor of the same ruinous Brexit)

We *want* wealth to get bigger!

The questions (in my mind) are "who gets what?" (Capital may make the initial investment, but all added value comes from Labour; is Labour getting a fair share?) and "are we underpricing the externalities?" (e.g. carbon, pollution, social cohesion).

I think the link is rather different; Neoliberalism, in its current debased form, prevents the black hole being fixed proactively (e.g. by social redistribution pushing wealth down the income deciles & increasing tax take there) or reactively (increasing tax take from top deciles)

The Weimar Republic created its own money. Zimbabwe created its own money. Creating your own money is not a magical panacea.

Just because Neoliberalism has reached a dead end and politicians don't know what to do doesn't mean we are free.

People who read the financial news have been aware of a Black Hole since Chancellor Jeremy Hunt created it in his last budget under PM Rishi Sunak.

Far be it from me to stand between UK Labour and a well-deserved kicking, but there have been enough lies about "no black hole" without you joining in.

No-one is arguing for not having women's spaces and men's spaces where needed. We're "just" having the same argument as down through the ages, as to whether working class women or black women or lesbian women or trans women can use those spaces, even though it annoys a vocal minority of bigots.
