I just knocked it off my backlog during this start of year quiet time. I enjoyed it generally. Better that Kid A. The difference is the strings and the drama compliment her voice. Bold, but in a logical way.

I remember being surprised Bjork topped that list (despite me liking Vespertine.) Seeing Matmos and Bodily Functions on the list reminds me micro-samples to the point of being unrecognisable from the source was a thing I never quite understood. Needing to be told it was a crayfish synapse etc.

I just got up to that chapter in your book (again). I pick it up every December, read from where the bookmark is, go to the start if i get to the end, and put it away if fully read or on Christmas day. It is the perfect piece of fun calm among the pre-Christmas runaround.
