Grumpy privileged old white man who went to Eton🙄🤡. The Torygraph used to employ real journalists. The outfit he’s moaning about looks like a kilt to me - would he get in a froth if ScotRail staff wore kilts? I use Eurostar regularly; staff and service are great and the informs look good.

He’s being advised by James Orr, a deeply misogynistic religious zealot who is helping him sanitise the messages so they can get funding from US religious groups and super PACs. Banning abortion rights, fertility treatments and opposing vaccines are on the Reform agenda.

My favourite town and home for many years. Enjoy!

This is good news. Let’s hope they can add more capacity. I use the service 3-4 times a year but have to trek from Somerset to London to use it. Birmingham would be much simpler.

So annoying - I use the Vienna service regularly🙄. You’d think such a popular route would be viewed as important.

Did the same last month, just couldn’t bear being bombarded with the ugliest bile-filled and ignorant propaganda imaginable.

Many years ago I was a mud engineer on drilling rigs.

The irony of a once well written newspaper turned propaganda rag advising on great writing; I doubt they use sub-editors for most of their copy these days.

Fontaine d'Eure near Uzès, the supply of water via the Pont du Gard to Nîmes. Slots for water level control and 2-3cm of opus signinum still visible in the rock cut channels that carried 40Km3 of water a day across 50 kms with a drop of 17m of Built 40-60AD. Astonishing #Roman #Provence. My photos.

Why do you assume he’s bragging ? He’s simply making a comparative point. London is safer than the US.

Sadiq Khan's team on Trump's comments about London crime

The homicide rate in the US is seven times that of London
US: homicide rate per million - 68 people
London - homicide rate per million - 9.8

Pics of Trump and Khan

The only people he quotes or refers to are rich, old and, with one exception, male. Each one of them moaning they can’t use the abusive, racist and uncivilised language of the 1970s. As for Connolly, she broke the law by inciting violence, nothing to do with free speech; illegal since the 1980s.

Farage is soon to get an EU pension of circa £75,000 a year for doing nothing, he rarely turned up for work in Brussels. The irony of this is the UK taxpayer is funding it under the Brexit deal. Hard working Brits paying a man who made them poorer.

Nothing protects women better than getting drunk in a pub and then assaulting police officers. A good few of Farage’s chums have convictions for rape, assaulting women and girls and trafficking minors for prostitution. Oh, and a few fraudsters to help fund the party.

Rollright Stones on the Oxfordshire/Warwickshire border. The Neolithic/Bronze age site was used 4th to 2nd millennium BC and built in phases. A view of the King’s Men stone circle, one of three monuments at the site. What rituals took place here ? #StandingStonesSunday #Neolithic #BronzeAge

Good stuff raising this. Perhaps you could regularly publish a list of corporate attendees and donors so we know who to boycott ?

He had no problem taking Putin’s money even after their invasion of Ukraine and in the full knowledge that it was betraying his country, democracy, free speech and the freedoms millions died to protect. He’s a traitor who loves taking and spending taxpayer’s money.

Most of the old fields are being sweated by small companies you’ve never heard of. The majors have been leaving the UKCS for twenty years. Costs are too high compared with other places and there are no big fields left to drill anyway. She’s talking nonsense. It wouldn’t affect prices in any event.

Take a look at James Orr too if you have time. A nasty nationalist and misogynist dressing up some very dangerous policies in pseudo academic language to impress the masses.
