Texas Hill Country - be EXTREMELY weather aware overnight. Be prepared evacuate IMMEDIATELY if you see conditions deteriorating. Do NOT rely solely on official sources (but if they say evacuate, do so without delay.) Ultimately you’re responsible for your own safety. #txwx

Heads up Texas Hill Country for “dangerous and life-threatening flash flooding” risk overnight. DO NOT HESITATE to evacuate/move to MUCH higher ground if conditions warrant. Monitor conditions and radar closely, have a NOAA weather radio.

If you’re in California, particular SoCal, download the Watch Duty app to gain situational awareness on the wildfire conditions and threat.

I was so fortunate to be invited to the Red Sky Summit in SF last week. This was a gathering of true thought leaders in wildfire — from the fire service, fire tech entrepreneurs, insurance, utilities, environmental NGOs, and investors. Super educational and thought provoking. redskysummit.com.
