Could drought and poor soil undermine the performance of intercropping ?

Our study in semi-arid Zimbabwe found that the benefits of intercropping are maintained even with water and N stress.

The #EU Deforestation & Forest Degradation Regulation is due to come into force in 2026. It will ban products made using raw materials from deforested areas on the EU market.
To this end, research needs to come up with indicators to differentiate between preserved & degraded forests.
